TERMS AND CONDITIONS
RELEASE & INDEMNITY DISCLAIMER
1.1 THE CONSENTING ADULT COVENANTS & AGREES WITH THE FOLLOWING RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE
PLAYERS DETAILED IN SECTION TWO
? The participant agrees to abide by the Rules and Code of Battle Stations Activities (BSA), at all times when present at the
BSA Venue.
? No alcohol/drugs are to be brought to a BSA Venue or consumed within. Any Participant judged by staff to be under the
influence of alcohol or drugs at a BSA Venue at any time will be asked to leave. A refund will not be reimbursed.
? No items found on the BSA game site are to be moved, thrown, kicked or otherwise made airborne by participants.
? No participant shall engage in:-
Skylarking, reckless, foolish behaviour or any behaviour likely to cause injury to themselves or other participants, or
to employees or agents of BSA. Any other behaviour that BSA deems in its absolute discretion to be unacceptable.
? BSA may request any participant engaging in unacceptable behaviour to leave the Venue. A refund will not be reimbursed.
? Each participant must remain within the designated boundaries of BSA at all times.
? Each participant will be advised to wear appropriate clothing for each activity. In general:
Long trousers. Enclosed shoes. Any head wear provided by BSA. All other safety devices that BSA may require the
participant to wear. Any participant who is unable or refuses to comply with this rule will not be permitted to play.
? All participants must follow the directives of BSA at all times.
? Any participant injured, or observing another to be injured should immediately notify BSA staff.
? Any medical issues must be brought to the attention of BSA staff by the organiser or individual when booking in. Medical
treatments must be at hand or in a known location to enable the individual to participate in the days activities.
1.2 TERMS AND CONDITIONS (T&Cs;)
The participant releases, waives and forever holds harmless BSA from all claims for any loss sustained by the participant whether
caused by BSA negligent or wilful act or omission, breach of contract, breach of statutory duty or otherwise in connection with BSA.
The participant agrees to BSA taking photographs, film and other images while participants are at the BSA venue and to develop,
print reproduce and use them royalty free for any lawful purpose (including commercial advertising).
1.3 INDEMNITY
The Participant indemnifies BSA against all claims for any loss sustained by the participant whether caused by BSA negligent or wilful
act or omission, breach of contract, breach of statutory duty or otherwise in connection with BSA.
1.4 WARRANTY AS TO AGE
By personally executing these T&Cs;, the participant warrants that he or she is at least eighteen (18) years of age. Where these
T&Cs; are executed by a parent, guardian or other person for and on behalf of the participant, the person so executing warrants that
he or she has authority to do so and that such parent, guardian or other person agrees to indemnify BSA in terms of the indemnity
contained in Clause 1.3 hereof.
1.5 BAR TO ACTION
The participant agrees that these T&Cs; may be pleaded as a bar to any action, suit or proceedings taken at any time by the
participant against BSA arising out of or as a consequence of BSA or any other incidental activities.
1.6 CONFIDENTIALITY
The participant must keep the terms of these T&Cs; confidential and no disclosure of the T&Cs; are to be made by the participant other
than for the purpose of obtaining legal advice.
1.7 BINDING ON SUCCESSORS
These T&Cs; bind the heirs, administrators, executors, personal representatives, dependants, (if any) and successors of the
participant and ensures for the benefit of BSA and its successors and assignees.
1.8 PRIVACY
BSA collects information from you for the primary purpose of providing quality indoor and outdoor entertainment. We require you to
provide us with details so that we may properly attend to your needs. This means we will use the information you provide in the
following ways: Administrative purposes, billing purposes (if necessary), disclosure for research and quality assurance activities to
improve entertainment services, and, if needed, emergency situations whereby staff/hospitals/doctors require access to a
participant’s records for appropriate purposes.
1.9 DEFINITIONS
In these T&Cs; unless inconsistent with the context or subject matter:

“All Claims” means all claims, actions, suits, demands, damages, interest and costs arising out of or as a consequence of BSA, or at
the BSA Venue.
“Any Loss” means any loss, damage or injury to persons (including the participant) or their personal property including but not limited
to:- Any damage or injury occasioned to or by a participant howsoever by:-
a) Any logs, trees or branches or any part thereof.
b) Any rocks, falling boulders or stones whether quarried or not.
c) Any rivers, ponds, streams or any other body of water existing at or near to a BSA Venue.
d) Any wildlife whatsoever.
e) Other participants.
f) Any equipment supplied to the participant by BSA in connection with BSA.
g) Or otherwise arising out of the participant’s involvement with BSA.
h) Any damage or injury occasioned to a participant as a result of a participant:
Slipping on rocks, boulders, logs, trees, land or any other substance; and/or
Falling over; and/or
Colliding with another participant whether caused by negligence, accident, flora or fauna, another participant or however otherwise
caused.
“BSA” (Trading As Laser Combat Ops) means the indoor/outdoor event or action role-play combat game run by the BSA multi
activity centre.
“BSA Venue” (Trading As Laser Combat Ops) means the location at which BSA is being convened.
“Participant” means the FULL NAME and ADDRESS of the persons listed at SECTION TWO of this form.
“BSA” (Trading As Laser Combat Ops) means a business of BSA group – 5 Plover Close, Thetford, Norfolk, IP24 2YP and its
agencies, suppliers, distributors, servants, employees, agents, representatives, directors and officers.
“Organiser” means the customer who has booked and organised the group event or who is in charge of under 18's.
